Financial Investigator (London)

We are currently looking for a Financial Investigator for the SARS Development Unit, Economic Crime Command on a full-time 3 year contract based in London (SW8).

The SARS Development Unit is a dedicated unit responsible for developing intelligence from suspicious activity reports into investigations for civil account freezing orders or criminal proceedings, leading to civil forfeiture or criminal prosecution.

Successful candidates would be working alongside police officers within the same team, who would lead on all criminal prosecutions.

We are seeking individuals with experience of financial investigation and knowledge of civil or criminal casework.

Candidates with lapsed accreditation as a Financial Investigator (3 years or less) must be prepared to do the necessary work to reinstate that accreditation on joining.

Other standard duties may/will include statement taking, attending court to obtain court orders. Some travel may be required within the London area as and when required, i.e meeting people at local police stations.

Contract: 3 years minimum

Pay Rate: £26.12 per hour

Location: Cobalt Square, SW8 1SU, London

Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
