Police Lawyer (Northallerton)

We are currently recruiting a Police Lawyer on a FTC approx 9 months based in Northallerton (with a possibility of agile working from other premises).

(open to Legal Execs, Solicitors and Barrister in line with the associated Career Progression Plan)
SALARY: £28,335 – £42,759 – Salary upon appointment will be dependent upon skills and experience as per the career progression plan relevant to this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding role within Joint Corporate Legal Services advising both the Chief Constable and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.

This is a rewarding role, having specific responsibility to assist the Force Solicitor and Head of Legal Services both with complex and sensitive casework in the area of employment matters.

You will have the ability and a proven track record to manage your own file case load, track record of managing employment tribunals from start to finish and working to tight deadlines.
You will be a team player as well an effective decision maker and communicator, equally confident in guiding the work of others in the team as you are at advising colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
