Tactical ICT Support Officer (London)

We are currently recruiting for a Tactical ICT Support Officer in London.

Pay rate: 300 per day.

Hours:  9:00am-17:00pm

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

Responsibilities:

– Providing practical advice & guidance in the use and acquisition of ICT to SO and CTP HQ colleagues.

– Assisting officers in the use and configuration of corporate mobility devices such as Foundation laptops, Foundation tablets, mobile phones, encrypted USB sticks etc. (including support for users on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10)

– Assisting officers in the provision and use of Foundation desktop terminals and peripherals.

– Advising officers in video and audio conferencing for both the client and National systems.

– Helping in the implementation of corporate projects / initiatives.

– Assisting, from an ICT perspective, customers in accommodation moves and changes (including scoping studies).

– Assisting, from an ICT perspective, customers with procurement activities.

– Ensuring that all requests/requirements/jobs are recorded on appropriate Technology Pillar spreadsheets / repositories.

– The role holder will be expected to travel round London as a core feature of the job (e.g. Heathrow, London City Airport, HQ buildings and other customer sites).
