Programme Manager (Kilburn)
16th May 2023We are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager in Kilburn.
Pay rate: 800-900 Per day.
Contract duration: Temporary ongoing
Duties:
• Lead the business design, UX and change activities and communicate the outputs, seeking support to enable change.
• Agreeing the leavers to change and the new operating model with the leadership team and ensuring they are enabled to deliver.
• Lead the Business Design Authority for the programme
• Manage a blended team consisting of a mix of internal and external resources
• Work closely with the Transformation Design and Change teams to ensure the programme is aligned to the client’s strategic direction, ways of working and that continuous improvement is adopted.
• Facilitate effective change to happen and efficiencies to be delivered.
• Support the planning for future programme team and to stand up the new directorate.
• Work with the SLT and operational business leads to identify and use analysis to drive forward transformation.
• Lead on people issues arising out of transformation, ensuring HR good practise is followed and impacts upon staff managed effectively.
• Undertake people/staff engagement providing considerate, informative and collaborative communications honestly that ensures people are involved
• Link into other enabling change initiatives and priority programmes, ensuring dependencies and aspects linked to transformation are handled through the organisational design remit and governance.
• Contribute to the wider team through chairing team meetings, being an active member of the senior leadership team, team information sharing sessions, lunch and learn sessions, recognising and rewarding success and working to make a better place to work.
Skills (Essential):
• Experience of collaborative working to agree future plans and drive change at a senior level
• Excellent organisational skills with evidence of hitting deadlines, corralling, and coordinating others, prioritising and continuously improving
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including presenting to executive boards
• Proven problem solving, relationship building and networking skills
• Ability to present complex information in an easily understandable format, referencing data and undertaking analysis to help inform decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management at all levels including working with Directors and team working skills
• Experience of Business Design and UX
Knowledge:
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of a mature business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
• Knowledge of and experience in at least one of the key disciplines within the workstream e.g., business architecture, UX design, stakeholder management, business change.
• In-depth knowledge of a broad range of leading practice business design techniques.
• Knowledge of National and local governance processes i.e., MOPAC, Cabinet office etc.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
