CIVILIAN INVESTIGATOR (Sydenham)
19th September 2022We are currently recruiting Civilian Investigators based in Sydenham, London.
Work Involves:
Investigation of deaths / serious injuries following police contact, ‘on duty’ criminality by Police Officers and/or Police Staff
Investigation of complex misconduct investigations into allegations of gross misconduct against police officers made via public complaints or reported through the MPS conduct processes.
You should be confident at interviewing officers and staff, have a knowledge of PACE and the ability to complete comprehensive outcome reports, You should be able to present your work to senior officers and external stakeholders, including the Independent Office for Police Conduct. There is also internal training with regard to regulations and DPS procedures.
