{"id":941,"date":"2024-01-18T15:29:02","date_gmt":"2024-01-18T15:29:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=941"},"modified":"2024-01-18T15:29:03","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T15:29:03","slug":"programme-manager","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=programme-manager","title":{"rendered":"Programme Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>We are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager in London.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Pay rate:<\/u>&nbsp;<\/strong>PAYE \u00a3657.53 per day\/ UMB \u00a3850 per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Contract duration:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong>Temporary ongoing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Clearance:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>DV Clearance is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:13px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Duties:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the implementation of programme and project management standards, processes and product sets across the change programmes and projects within direct responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construct, manage and own their programme plans, and manage the key dependencies &amp; constraints across their plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify key issues and resolutions or escalate where appropriate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for successful transition of deliverables into BAU \u2013 as determined by approved design and business cases(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure change programmes remain aligned with the strategic objectives and the target-operating model for client.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading on the stakeholder engagement and management in respect of the programmes the postholder has responsibility for.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop programme level business cases, coordinate approvals, and sign off for business cases and their subsequent successful delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify constraints within their change programmes such as funding or resources and work with the client to overcome them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management of staff: providing leadership, advice management and support to those directly being tasked within the programme to establish a highly performing team and therefore the successful delivery of performance objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential Experience:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience of working in (local) government, a security agency or policing is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working in and delivering collaborative, multi-agency \/ joint programmes (or complex projects) into multiple business units \/ businesses, with hybrid team construct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing an organisational change (transformation \/ redesign) driven programme, often enabled by technology, and successfully delivering service improvements (effectiveness), and\/or productivity improvements and \/ or cost reduction (efficiencies).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operating within a project \/ programme delivery environment with personal responsibility for delivering against a defined plan, including tranche, release, and phase management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing an effective governance model, defining, and implementing impactful stakeholder management strategies and supporting communications plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actively and effectively managing risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions \u2013 and applying strong change control \u2013 at a programme level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in supplier and contract management, in a change programme context, including, but not limited, to defining requirements, supplier selection \/ vfm, contract management planning \u2013 definition and application, supplier performance management and closure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge and experience in applying programme and project management approaches, specifically the processes and techniques involved in planning, forecasting, managing, and controlling large areas of work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Business case development and assessment, planning and the application of good practice processes, and subsequent business case delivery, including benefits realisation management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Programme or project transition to BAU, including implementation of related service management deliverables in accordance with respective design and business case.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in delivering programmes constituted of multiple workstreams, deploying a range of concurrent lifecycle frameworks, such: change, business design \/ operating model development, technology \/ engineering development and delivery, and estate planning \/ delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply online or contact Terri O\u2019Keefe on 07879 585551.
