{"id":893,"date":"2023-10-05T09:52:15","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T08:52:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=893"},"modified":"2023-10-05T09:52:17","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T08:52:17","slug":"project-accountant","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=project-accountant","title":{"rendered":"Project Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>We are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant in Liverpool.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Pay rate:<\/u> <\/strong>PAYE 625 per day\/UMB 781 per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Contract duration: <\/u><\/strong>Temporary ongoing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Duties:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to defining clear and measurable financial benefits for each initiative and monitoring the delivery across the transformation programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help protect the financial benefits through initiating corrective actions where problems may occur, or where senior managers have made decisions that may make benefits difficult to achieve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide the Council with confidence that the financial benefits are realistic and are being effectively managed through challenge, advice and support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare regular financial reports for project sponsors and senior management, presenting financial progress, challenges, and opportunities in a clear and concise manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be responsible for developing financial benefits realisation policies and procedures as well as financial benefits trackers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the organisation to build its understanding and knowledge of benefits management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create actional deliverables for communications plans, change roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans and resistance management plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge\/Experience:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a Project Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have strong numerical and verbal critical reasoning skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have accountancy skills that help define and project future benefits and associated costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:6px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply online or contact Terri O&#8217;Keefe on 07879 585551.
