{"id":859,"date":"2023-08-11T15:57:12","date_gmt":"2023-08-11T14:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=859"},"modified":"2023-08-11T15:57:13","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T14:57:13","slug":"financial-investigator-2","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=financial-investigator-2","title":{"rendered":"Financial Investigator"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>We are currently recruiting for a Financial Investigator in Manchester.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Contract duration: <\/u><\/strong>Temporary ongoing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Duties:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To lead, develop and progress financial investigation in accordance with relevant policy and legislative requirements, and to maximise the effective use of POCA and other legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take on lead financial investigation roles within a larger case team, ensuring all legal and operational requirements are met on the way to preparing cases for submission for charge advice and\/or judicial outcomes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drafting and applying for financial orders at Magistrates \/ Crown court.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of financial material, predominantly bank statements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete mandatory training and maintain relevant Financial Investigator accreditation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present evidence in court with clarity, integrity, and professionalism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Experience:&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Financial investigator qualified with the ability to produce production orders to present as court.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial restraint and confiscation qualified is preferable but will consider without<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accredited Financial Investigator or with a lapsed accreditation within the reactivation period<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience of managing serious \/ complex financial investigations through the justice system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to produce written work to a high standard and convey complex financial detail to less knowledgeable parties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competent un using IT (particularly MS Excel and work), including creating and being able to understand spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You must hold SC Clearance to be considered for this role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply online or contact Lucia De Felice on 07425 757587.
