{"id":794,"date":"2023-05-17T15:20:22","date_gmt":"2023-05-17T14:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=794"},"modified":"2023-05-17T15:20:22","modified_gmt":"2023-05-17T14:20:22","slug":"civilian-investigator-london-2","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=civilian-investigator-london-2","title":{"rendered":"Civilian Investigator (London)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>We are currently recruiting for a Civilian Investigator in London.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Pay rate:<\/u> <\/strong>18.72 Per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Contract duration: <\/u><\/strong>Temporary ongoing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Purpose:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 To review historic and recent DPS investigations where Police Officers or members of Police Staff are alleged to have been involved in offences involving Domestic Abuse or Sexual Misconduct<br>\u2022 To write Briefing Notes and reports which may be reviewed by NPCC Officers and senior stakeholders<br>\u2022 The work may also involve reinvestigating some cases as directed by the SIO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential Criteria:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Must be vetted to Management Vetting &amp; Security Clearance (MV\/SC) level<br>\u2022 Have previous investigative experience<br>\u2022 Have previous, recent experience of working in a public protection environment<br>\u2022 Have a flexible attitude to work with the ability to prioritise<br>\u2022 Have sound report writing\/written skills<br>\u2022 Must be IT literate and have a good command and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel<br>\u2022 Understanding of Police Conduct Regulations, Police Reform Act, Police (Complaints and Misconduct) Regulations and Police (Performance) Regulations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Desirable Criteria:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Previous experience in dealing with complaints and misconduct<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply online or contact Terri O&#8217;Keefe on 01925 377 878.
