{"id":706,"date":"2023-04-19T09:06:46","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T08:06:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=706"},"modified":"2023-04-19T09:06:46","modified_gmt":"2023-04-19T08:06:46","slug":"transformation-change-project-manager-london","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=transformation-change-project-manager-london","title":{"rendered":"Transformation Change Project Manager (London)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We are currently recruiting for a Transformation Change Project Manager in London.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Pay rate:<\/u> <\/strong>PAYE 407.17-451.76 per day\/UMB 525-583 per day.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Contract duration:<\/u><\/strong> Temporary ongoing<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Purpose:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Day-to-day management and delivery of projects or workstreams across the change lifecycle to agreed parameters (time, cost, quality).\u00a0Proactively manage discrete projects or project work packages, reporting into either the Senior Project Manager or Senior Responsible Owner, including; management of blended (staff and contractor) project or workstream teams, maintenance of specific programme or project management products, putting in place and active management of appropriate project governance, project plans, risk and issue registers, tracking and monitoring updates, managing escalations and effective change control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure allocated project(s) maintain a defined PPM maturity, as directed by the Portfolio Office.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Develop Business Cases at appropriate points of the project lifecycle and then ownership and management of these cases through the multistage process.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Facilitate and coordinate workshops to assist in the development of programme and project management products.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Create and maintain consistently high quality, accurate and relevant programme and project level governance products (e.g. delivery RAG, dependency logs, project plans, risks and issues register, benefits realisation plan, financial data, resource \/ workforce data).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage programme and project Change Control Request (CCR) processes in line with portfolio office standards, ensuring that all change governance decisions and actions are proactively followed through effectively and audited appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Lead a project team and maintain summary of Programme\/Project resources including organisation charts and trackers. This could include managing suppliers and commercial arrangements to deliver project outputs.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Establish and manage regular reporting cycles, ensuring highlight reports are submitted into the PMO or PfMO in accordance with reporting timelines and appropriate summary dashboards are prepared to enable effective decision making.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Managing effective and efficient standards, practices and processes, ensuring that all parts of the reporting framework are managed in a consistent and controlled way, so that the deliverables needed by the Project \/ Programme Board are correct, timely and fit for purpose.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Provide budget control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Experience:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Good levels of previous experience working within a project and programme management environment.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of or direct experience in applying programme and project management approaches such as MSP, Agile and PRINCE2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Experience of project delivery in a technical\/ICT environment<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience of establishing and implementing project control mechanisms in a project and\/or programme or business environment.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Previous experience of working in (local) government, a security agency or policing is desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apply online or contact Terri O&#8217;Keefe on 01925 377 878.
