{"id":576,"date":"2022-11-02T08:18:01","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T08:18:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=576"},"modified":"2022-11-02T08:18:01","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T08:18:01","slug":"senior-democratic-services-advisor-salford","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=senior-democratic-services-advisor-salford","title":{"rendered":"SENIOR DEMOCRATIC SERVICES ADVISOR (SALFORD)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting a Senior Democratic Services Advisor based in Salford on a 12 month contract.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ICT skils i.e. Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook or similar programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>To be politically aware<\/li>\n<li>To adopt a neutral political stance, regardless of their personal opinions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload to meet deadlines, and to work with minimum supervision using initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Numeracy for budget reporting and statistical work<\/li>\n<li>A professional manner, to deal with people from a wide range of backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Record and process information accurately following set procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Work flexibly as a member of a team and be willing to offer support to colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Good listening skills, in order to follow complex debates.<\/li>\n<li>Discretion, as confidential issues may be discussed at meetings. Application of data protection principles.<\/li>\n<li>Good report writing skills, being able to identify and articulate key points<\/li>\n<li>Experience of taking minutes at meetings.<\/li>\n<li>ECDL or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience of committee administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apply online or contact Terri O\u2019Keefe on 01925 377 878.
