Salary range \u00a324,217 \u2013 \u00a326,907 per annum, plus a generous benefits package<\/p>\n
As an Exercise Planning Advisor, you will be helping to plan and deliver an effective Counter Terrorism exercise programme.<\/p>\n
In this key role, you\u2019ll be at the heart of the team\u2019s work, planning and arranging a rolling programme of Counter Terrorism (CT) Live-Play and Table-Top exercises. You\u2019ll be part of the team that designs and implements a range of exercise scenarios, and then monitor and analyses performance, providing valuable feedback. It\u2019s important that all exercises comply with planning policies and Exercise Strategy.<\/p>\n
Your expertise should come with good analytical, IT and communication skills, plus a highly organised approach. This means you\u2019ll be able to draw out key insights and draft recommendations; deal with a wide range of people; and manage a busy workload. Able to work both independently and as part of a team, you\u2019ll have the initiative and drive to create a highly effective exercising program.<\/p>\n
You will be expected to manage, at times, a heavy workload, attending nuclear sites to represent the exercise team in all the stages of the planning and delivery. You will be the first line manager for the Exercise Planning Coordinator.<\/p>\n
This role involves extensive independent travel across the United Kingdom with many overnight stays.<\/p>\n
