Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n To undertake investigations into network criminal activity. <\/p>\n Role Profile\/Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1. Participate in operations and investigations, carry out evidence and intelligence gathering and preservation in order to build knowledge of organised crime and disrupt and degrade criminal capability.<\/p>\n 2. Deliver actions in the investigative strategy deploying a range of law enforcement techniques.<\/p>\n 3. Provide support to core investigative functions including disclosure\/exhibits\/authorities\/presentation of written and oral evidence.<\/p>\n 4. Ensure the quality secure handling and dissemination of intelligence, maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity and duty of care in line with Agency policy.<\/p>\n 5. Carry out effective case management, create, maintain and update departmental records, including case files and reports.<\/p>\n 6. Proactively contribute to the development of the Outside Enquiry Team and Investigative strand of Op Stovewood.<\/p>\n 7. Build good working relationships with both internal and external partners.<\/p>\n 8. \nOperation of MIR in accordance of MIRSAP.
\nIdentification of lines of enquiry and evidential opportunities.<\/p>\n
\nRIPA\/CPIA\/Freedom of Information\/MOPI trained.
\nPIP2 qualified.<\/p>\n
\nExperience of carrying out intelligence led investigations utilising HOLMES, delivering criminal justice outcomes.
\nExperience of analysing information from a wide range of sources.
\nProven experience of working to timelines within a dynamic environment.
\nInformation technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
\nAnalytical\/data interpretation skills.
\nWritten\/drafting skills.
\nStrong team player.
\nMajor Incident\/Major Crime \u2013 specifically Major Incident Room Standard Administrative Procedures (MISRAP).
\nWorking procedures deployed in force Personal Protection Units\/Vulnerable persons units.
\nGood understanding of UK and international legislation affecting CSE\/Vulnerable Persons.
\nExtensive knowledge of disclosure\/exhibits procedures.<\/p>\n
