(20% tax applies in Guernsey)<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<br \/>\no Be responsible for designing and carrying out AML\/CTF risk assessments across the whole Group (the Group currently operates in Italy, Romania, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Malta, Gibraltar and the UK).<\/p>\n<p>o On the back of those risk assessments, review and assess the current AML\/CTF policies, procedures and controls in place across the Group and revise and update the same as necessary to ensure their effectiveness (such reviews to undertaken at regular intervals going forward).<\/p>\n<p>o Monitor and supervise the Suspicious Activity Report processes.<\/p>\n<p>o Be an integral part of liaison with gambling regulators, other relevant authorities and third parties (including the Group\u2019s banks) in relation to money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and other related matters.<\/p>\n<p>o Monitor and review all AML and CTF changes to EU and national laws that affect the Group\u2019s business and update policies, procedures and controls accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>o Be responsible for assessing and meeting all AML\/CTF training needs of the relevant employees of the Group (preparing and delivering training as appropriate).<\/p>\n<p>o Liaise with country managers and key stakeholders in the Group in relation to the above.<\/p>\n<p>Skills\/Experience:<\/p>\n<p>o Have at least 7 years\u2019 experience of working in AML\/CTF and specifically experience as an MLRO (or as a very experienced deputy MLRO) \u2013 within a gambling business and\/or international business would be a clear advantage but is not expected as a pre-requisite.<\/p>\n<p>o Be driven proactive self-starters who are passionate about AML\/CTF compliance and driving any required change across the Group.<\/p>\n<p>o Have first-class communication skills (in English \u2013 knowledge of Italian (as the Group\u2019s largest market) would also be advantageous), and be able to distil complex and sometimes cumbersome regulations into understandable English.<\/p>\n<p>o Easy to work with, and want to work in a fun and dynamic owner-managed international business.<\/p>\n<p>o Be prepared to travel across Europe from time to time as business needs dictate.<\/p>\n<p>Relocation costs to Malta from the UK will be paid.<\/p>\n<p>Apply online or contact Dylan at Peel Solutions for more information.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"job_application application\">\n<div id=\"gjm-map-wrapper-30\" class=\"gjm-map-wrapper map-wrapper\" data-map-id=\"30\">\n<div id=\"gjm-map-30\" class=\"gjm-map gjm-location-map\" data-map-id=\"30\">\n<div class=\"gm-style\">\n<div tabindex=\"0\">\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting an AML &amp; Data Protection Officer based in Malta on a Permanent basis.
