{"id":278,"date":"2019-07-31T15:51:23","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T14:51:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=278"},"modified":"2019-07-31T15:51:23","modified_gmt":"2019-07-31T14:51:23","slug":"holmes-indexer-sheffield","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=holmes-indexer-sheffield","title":{"rendered":"HOLMES Indexer (Sheffield)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting a HOLMES Indexer based in Sheffield.<br \/>\nContract until 31st March 2021<\/p>\n<p>Role:<br \/>\nTo provide the HOLMES Indexer role to the Investigations team.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertake HOLMES indexing duties as tasked by the HOLMES Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality, secure handling and dissemination of operational information input onto HOLMES, maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity and a duty of care in line with Operational policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accredited HOLMES<\/li>\n<li>ACPO major incidents room training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Desirable<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CPIA\/RIPA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Experience required:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities within the police service, major incident rooms (MIRSAP).<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of ACPO good practice and guidance into the investigation of serious crime (e.g. MIRSAP and MIM).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HOLMES system.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of disclosure\/exhibit procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Broad appreciation of organised criminality, nationally and internationally.<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of law enforcement, prevention techniques and intelligence gathering capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal\/presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Information technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical \/data interpretation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of HOLMES inputting.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working to tight deadlines within a dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of working with large data sets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apply online or contact Lloyd at Peel Solutions for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting a HOLMES Indexer based in Sheffield.
