{"id":277,"date":"2019-07-31T15:50:32","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T14:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=277"},"modified":"2019-07-31T15:50:32","modified_gmt":"2019-07-31T14:50:32","slug":"investigations-investigator-sheffield","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=investigations-investigator-sheffield","title":{"rendered":"Investigations Investigator (Sheffield)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"job_description\">\n<p>We are currently recruiting an Investigations Investigator (Sheffield)<br \/>\nContract up until 31st March 2021<\/p>\n<p>Role:<br \/>\nTo undertake investigations into network criminal activity.<br \/>\nOperation of MIR in accordance of MIRSAP.<br \/>\nIdentification of lines of enquiry and evidential opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in operations and investigations, carry out evidence and intelligence gathering and preservation in order to build knowledge of organised crime and disrupt and degrade criminal capability.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver actions in the investigative strategy deploying a range of law enforcement techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to core investigative functions including disclosure\/exhibits\/authorities\/presentation of written and oral evidence.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality secure handling and dissemination of intelligence, maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity and duty of care in line with Agency policy.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out effective case management, create, maintain and update departmental records, including case files and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively contribute to the development of the Outside Enquiry Team and Investigative strand of Op Stovewood.<\/li>\n<li>Build good working relationships with both internal and external partners.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct relevant health and safety procedures and report issues or identified risks in accordance with health and safety legislation and agency policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified and experienced investigators.<\/li>\n<li>RIPA\/CPIA\/Freedom of Information\/MOPI trained.<\/li>\n<li>PIP2 qualified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of working in a MIR on complex serious crime investigations, preferably using HOLMES and adhering to MIRSAP.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of carrying out intelligence-led investigations utilising HOLMES, delivering criminal justice outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of analysing information from a wide range of sources.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working to timelines within a dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Information technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical\/data interpretation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Written\/drafting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player.<\/li>\n<li>Major Incident\/Major Crime \u2013 specifically Major Incident Room Standard Administrative Procedures (MISRAP).<\/li>\n<li>Working procedures deployed in force Personal Protection Units\/Vulnerable persons units.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of UK and international legislation affecting CSE\/Vulnerable Persons.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of disclosure\/exhibits procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply online or contact Lloyd at Peel Solutions for more information.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting an Investigations Investigator (Sheffield) Contract up until 31st March 2021 Role: To undertake investigations into network&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","jobpost_category":[],"jobpost_job_type":[10],"jobpost_location":[28],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/jobpost\/277"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/jobpost"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/jobpost"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=277"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=277"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"jobpost_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fjobpost_category&post=277"},{"taxonomy":"jobpost_job_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fjobpost_job_type&post=277"},{"taxonomy":"jobpost_location","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fjobpost_location&post=277"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
