rel=\"noopener\">peelsolutions<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"job-details\">Job Details:<\/p>\n<div class=\"job_description\">\n<p>We are currently recruiting a Management of Sexual\/Violent Offenders Officer Based in Welwyn Garden City on a 3 month contract. 37 hours per week.<\/p>\n<p>Job purpose:<br \/>\nTo manage an allocated caseload of registered sex offenders by means of conducting home visits, carrying out risk assessments and risk management plans in line with the Active Risk Management System, identifying and addressing such risks by deciding upon a robust risk management strategy.<br \/>\nTo provide guidance and work closely with Probation offender managers, Safer Neighbourhood Teams and local partners to develop plans to manage individual registered sex offenders<br \/>\nTo perform as officer in the case for investigating cases pertaining to Registered Sex Offenders, gathering evidence, carrying out suspect interviews and grading indecent images of children as necessary<br \/>\nTo represent the organisation at Professionals meetings, such as MAPPA, Care Plan meetings, Core Group meetings.<br \/>\nTo identify, assess and report concerns identified by sex offenders\u2019 contact with children and vulnerable persons, working with other departments and external agencies to ensure that information is shared, to safeguard against further harm.<br \/>\nApply for search warrants, undertake searches of premises of arrested or detained persons, evaluating, seizing and taking control of material for further investigation.<br \/>\nProduce specialist written evidence and deliver that evidence in court.<\/p>\n<p>Essential skills and experience:<br \/>\nExperience of using Cycomms and RIPA<br \/>\nKnowledge of the MAPPA protocol and process<br \/>\nAbility to deal with casework and court file preparation in a demanding environment<br \/>\nExperience of working in a multi-agency environment<\/p>\n<p>Desirable:<br \/>\nActive Risk Management System (ARMS) trained<br \/>\nRisk Matrix 2000 assessment trained<br \/>\nCAID trained- grading indecent images of children<br \/>\nExperience of Fieldsearch (or its successor) of offenders\u2019 computers<br \/>\nMobile phone download trained<br \/>\nExperience of IMS Input and Sanitising<br \/>\nExperience of installation and monitoring of online risk management software<br \/>\nPNC and CSS
