{"id":132,"date":"2019-01-19T18:40:08","date_gmt":"2019-01-19T18:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=132"},"modified":"2019-01-19T18:40:08","modified_gmt":"2019-01-19T18:40:08","slug":"disclosure-officer-london","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.policejobs.co.uk\/?jobpost=disclosure-officer-london","title":{"rendered":"DISCLOSURE OFFICER &#8211; (LONDON)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting a Disclosure Officer based in London.<\/p>\n<p>Role:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure sensitive and non-sensitive disclosure schedules and disclosure officer reports are completed in accordance with legal requirements and within the required time scale.<\/li>\n<li>To identify further lines of enquiry from exhibits and unused material, taking appropriate action to deal with information that is inadequate, contradictory or ambiguous.<\/li>\n<li>To gather unused material from everyone involved in an operation, ensuring that information has been obtained in accordance with relevant legislation.<\/li>\n<li>To contact other bodies, including law enforcement (UK and abroad), to request unused material and\/or disclosure schedules, acting as Principal Disclosure Officer as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Attend Court as required.<\/li>\n<li>Fully conversant with disclosure in complex criminal cases;<\/li>\n<li>Have a thorough knowledge of the Attorney General\u2019s guidelines on disclosure 2013, the CPS Disclosure Manual and Judicial Protocol on the Disclosure of Unused Material.<\/li>\n<li>Have acted as disclosure officer in complex criminal cases; and<\/li>\n<li>Have knowledge and experience of international disclosure issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apply online or contact Lloyd at Peel Solutions for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently recruiting a Disclosure Officer based in London.
