Deputy Disclosure Officer (London)

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Disclosure Officer in London.

Pay rate: 25 per hour

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

Duties: 

Disclosure Officers ensure that:

•    Prosecution material is retained, reviewed, assessed for relevance, and revealed in compliance with our unbending legal obligations under CPIA.  
•    A consistent and corporate approach is applied to the disclosure process. 
•    Prosecution material is handled, recorded, and stored professionally.
•    The integrity and continuity of material is maintained.
•    Support the SIO’s in achieving their operational goals. 
•    Provide reassurance to the CPS on all matters of disclosure. 
•    Produce accurate and comprehensive MG schedules. 
•    Give evidence in court in relation to disclosure matters and processes.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills: 

•    An in depth knowledge of relevant legislation including Bribery, POCA, CPIA its application of this within Criminal Justice proceedings.
•    Fully conversant with the handling of prosecution material including exhibits in complex criminal cases.
•    Have acted as disclosure schedulers in complex criminal cases
•    Demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering a high standard of service with an emphasis on quality at all times.
•    Demonstrable ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
•    Experience in using document review systems, such as NUIX, Relativity, Axcelerate or Autonomy

Qualifications:

Desired
•    PIP 2 accredited or equivalent experiences / historic equivalent accreditation.
•    Paralegal qualifications or law graduate
