Learning Transformation Senior Project Manager (London)

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Transformation Senior Project Manager in London.

Pay rate: 500-550 Per day.

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

Purpose:

Our client is looking for a senior leader who has proven project delivery experience across a range of programmes and projects. This is a hands-on delivery role where you will use your project management, change and leadership experience to drive organisational change, develop new business models and structures, and implement new ways of working.

Duties: 

• To champion and implement effective project delivery by providing overall direction and leadership for the project delivery team, building capability, and understanding
• To lead the projects set up, management and delivery to required professional standards; including managing inter-dependencies and identifying, influencing, and resolving risks, tracking and controlling costs and benefits through engagement and problem solving.
• To build and maintain critical working relationships with a range of stakeholders to enable effective partnership working to resolve problems to benefit operational policing.
• To complete all project documentation and reporting requirements, managing resources to ensure project outputs are delivered to time, cost, and quality
• To ensure effective management of commercial arrangements ensuring all commercial viable options are appraised as part of business case development, contracts provide value for money and the performance of contracted parties are in accordance with governance arrangements.

Experience (Essential): 

• Senior management within a complex change portfolio
• Influencing, negotiating with, and providing challenge to director level stakeholders
• Resolving and escalating risks, issues and conflicts as necessary within a complex change portfolio
• Managing suppliers and contractors, assuring quality and ensuring value for money
• Managing a team, setting a collaborative culture, building capability and creating an environment of continuous learning
• Managing complex programmes and projects.
