Community Engagement Lead (London)

We are currently recruiting for a Community Engagement Lead in London.

Pay rate: PAYE 28.95 per hour/UMB 37.46 per hour.

Contract duration: Temporary ongoing

Department: Project Management

Purpose:

This role will focus on the Grant application and issuing process and managing communications, applications, and selection.

Duties: 

– Role will be mainly focusing on the overseeing grants and the management of applications.

– Support external partners in accessing these resources.

– Must be able to understand how to engage with groups.

– Will need project manage experience to produce a project plan.

– Budgeting experience (unit has a budget of £300K) demonstrate spends.

– Ability to think out the box and look at innovative easy to engage the target audience.

Experience: 

• Previous experience in working with community engagement and with people form disadvantaged back grounds.
• Excellent communication, be able to build rapport with people from all back grounds and standing.
• Previous experience in commissioning and grants process.
• Previous project management.
