E-LEARNING (DESIGNER & DEVELOPER) ABINGDON
17th October 2022We are currently recruiting a E-Learning (Designer & Developer) based in Abingdon.
Role:
• Create original multimedia for inclusion in e-Learning training packages.
• Edit, enhance and manipulate images and videos using professional editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro with high speed of operation and accuracy.
• Ensure all personnel who appear in images/videos for training purposes are in agreement with the department’s consent policy through the management of release forms.
• Work in collaboration with the Digital Learning Advisor to develop, design and build original e-learning/blended learning packages for all levels of the organisation to meet learning requirements and deliver specific learning objectives.
• Enable learning opportunities through presentations in the form of eLearning, Videos, PowerPoints, audio recordings and other blended learning solutions being made available to the wider force.
• Produce effective storyboards from script to a high-quality,
Skills and experience required :
• Knowledge of multi-media production applications (eLearning authoring tools, design, video and audio production).
• Competent user of standard Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competent user of Adobe CC (Captivate, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Audition).
• Knowledge of working with a Learning Management System.
• Good knowledge of innovative application of photography, lighting and camera techniques.
• Ability to manipulate and create images to enhance e-learning packages/videos.
• Knowledge of non-linear editing and experience with a professional level editing tool.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
• Excellent standard of literacy, accuracy and attention to detail
• Innovative and creative with high level of enthusiasm for new and emerging technologies.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
• Analytical skills to solve problems.
• Judgemental skills to formulate solutions and recommend on the best course of action.
• Assist and advise training staff on the creation, storage and use of re-useable electronic learning objects and digital media assets.
• Ability to communicate at a professional level across the organisation.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Keep abreast of developments in digital media and technology-enhanced learning.
• Other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post-holder has the necessary experience and/or training.
