INVESTIGATOR (LONDON)

We are currently recruiting an Investigator based in London. 6-month ongoing contract. £16.55 – £20.55 PH.

The MPS Central Specialist Crime Vulnerability Assessment and Partnership Team (VAPT) is based at Cobalt Square, Vauxhall.
The team oversees all Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery referrals which are submitted to the Metropolitan Police through the National Referral Mechanism (NRM).
In 2018, the MPS received 2500 NRM forms to process, with each form representing a potential victim of modern slavery.
The team requires an inbox coordinator to assist in managing the high volume of referrals which are sent to the team. The role will involve receiving and processing new referrals and updates on existing cases from the Home Office Single Competent Authority (SCA) and providing updates to the SCA on the outcome of the police investigations.
Those suitable should have strong computer skills, including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Role would suit Ex- officer who has previous experience within the MPS and is familiar with the internal computer systems used.
