Investigator (Bromley, Croydon, Sutton)

We are currently recruiting an Investigator based in Bromley, Croydon or Sutton with flexibility of site location. 6 months ongoing contract.

Key Role
Identify lines of enquiry and potential evidence gathering opportunities, securing and preserving evidence at the earliest opportunity
• Statement taking, Movement of documents and exhibits; including logistics, continuity and transport, Support with research for warrant / proactive investigation
• Victim Liaison
• To develop key evidence
• Conduct interviews with witnesses and suspects
• Examine large volumes of electronic and paper documents
• Previous experience of investigations and preparing reports and court files
Recovering and reviewing digital evidence.
• The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Movement of documents and exhibits; including logistics, continuity and transport, CCTV recovery and viewing.

Essential Criteria
• Previous experience within criminal investigations
• Proven track record within Victim Care and Statement Taking
• Experience in statement taking
• Previous experience of working in investigative or intelligence environment
• IT literate (MS Word and Excel)
• Statement taking
• Victim/witness liaison
• Driving Licence

Desirable Criteria
• Interrogation and analysis information from Open Source and MPS data sources
• Background in Safeguarding
• ABE Skills

Shift Pattern: Fixed (primarily 9 till 5 – some flexibility within reason can be accommodated)
