We are currently recruiting an Investigations CPIA Reviewer in Vauxhall, London on 12 months ongoing contract.

A Principal Disclosure Officer and Deputy Disclosure Officer are currently appointed to the investigation. A team needs now to be established to conduct a detailed review of unused material.

The CPIA reviewers will be allocated Nuix (digital material platform) case subset folders for consideration of relevance. They will categorise each item for later scheduling and the primary test for Disclosure to be undertaken by the Principal Disclosure Officer. At regular intervals their work will be dip sampled to ensure quality and adherence to CPIA & Attorney General requirements.

Close scrutiny of the work undertaken by the reviewers will enable NCA policy development concerning bulk data CPIA; in particular the time and resource implications incumbent in large fraud and money laundering investigations.

Candidates must have the ability to recognise the relevance of documents and schedule their findings.

Somebody who has Administrative experience with IT competence would be suitable for this role.

Knowledge: 
Basic understanding of information management.
Good understanding of UK and international legislation affecting Agency activity.

Skills:

 

  • Specialist typists
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Information technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Analytical/data interpretation skills
  • Written/drafting skills.

 

Experience within a Law Enforcement environment is Desirable.

Experience:

 

  • Experienced in criminal investigations.
  • Experience of analysing information from a wide range of sources.
  • Proven experience of working to timelines within a dynamic environment.
