We are currently recruiting a Holmes Indexer based in Blackburn on a 3 month contract.
• Accurate and efficient use of HOLMES.
• To arrange initial incident room preparation and back record conversion.
• To be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of the equipment used in relation to major incidents.
• To continually self-develop within the role.
• To assist in delivering training needs in relation to HOLMES
• To continually strive to develop best practice.
• To carry out any other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and grading of the post
Qualification
Essential
HOLMES V16 trained
Full driving licence
Knowledge / Experience
Essential:
Experiences of utilising computer applications.
Experience of working in a Major Incident Room
Knowledge of Major Incident Room procedures.
The ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
Experience of conducting research and presenting findings.
The ability to work on own initiative with the minimum of supervision.
The ability to communicate with people at all levels, both orally and in writing.
Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines.
Experience of working as part of a team.
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection Principles and Community & Race Relations Legislation/issues
Desired:
Previous experience of delivering training.
The ability to maintain and support computer software/hardware
