FIU SUPPORT OFFICER (LONDON)

We are currently recruiting a FIU Support Officer based in London on a 6 month ongoing.

The UKFIU undertakes key functions that are required by international and domestic legislation. It is consistently required to handle high volumes of cases under strict statutory deadlines, some of which carry high operational and litigation risks.

The UKFIU services a wide range of stakeholders including SARs reporting entities in the private sector, partner UK law enforcement agencies, and numerous regulatory bodies and international law enforcement partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Contingent labour will include delivery of the following outputs in the UKFIU:
• Data inputting of SARs records to the SARs database
• Intelligence checks on SAR subjects across core NCA systems.
• Conducting of open source intelligence checks where required.
• Monitoring and administration relating to team mailboxes.
• Review of target reports and assessing hits against intelligence records.
• Creation of LEA packs containing SARs data.
• Administration relating to DAML team processes.
• Administration of FIA process for external users.
• General administrative duties relating to arranging meetings, booking travel for SMT, on-boarding of new staff and general office management functions.

Skills/experience required:
Desirable:

Grade 5
• Experience of working with law enforcement databases and systems.
• Ability to review and assess sometimes complex intelligence from a variety of sources.
• Experience of financial investigation and/or financial intelligence development.
• Experience in decision making.
• Ability to manage workload and process high volume / quick turnaround cases.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.

Grade 6
• Experience of working with law enforcement databases and systems.
• Experience of data inputting.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
