We are currently recruiting an Investigator based in Cheshire.
Contract:12-18 Months
Working Hours- Mon-Fri with cover on Saturdays when needed.
Pay Rate: £15-£16 per hour.

This role will require:
Provision of support to the Covid-Investigation functions.
Ability to assist with intelligence led/ rapid response to incidents
Effective partnership working with other local authorities and Police.
Confident, well presented individuals able to represent the Council professionally.
Enthusiastic and willing to work both proactively and reactively.
Willing to work on a business need basis – i.e willing to work anywhere in the borough but also willing to work evenings and weekends where we need it.

This role would suit individuals with recent enforcement experience.

Requirements :
Ability to prepare witness statements and capture evidence.
Able to complete patrols.
Knowledge of video capturing/ evidence gathering/ use of bodycams (or willing to be trained).
Confident dealing with high pressure situations and/or potential conflict professionally.
Knowledge of covid- enforcement issues.
Able to drive and willing to use own vehicle for business.

Support efficient effective Enforcement –
To deliver a holistic Covid business advice and enforcement remedy. Including
a. Business support and social distancing advice and solutions to high risk, priority small businesses, with advice chat facility.
b. rapid response to issues requiring a firm remedy into the Covid T&T Hub associated with any outbreak.
Targeted media including mobile media boards located in SD challenged areas ( it is understood that a Comms project is currently underway and this could link so this has not been costed)

Any person / business not complying with Covid rules and
a. Commissioned service from H&S Consultancy

b. In house from redeployment of existing staff with backfill or direct recruitment from agency
c. Better Covid security and social distancing in businesses
d. Reduced Covid Transmission associated with outbreak situations
e. Greater public compliance ( on the basis of media messages following enforcement)
f. Increased business confidence in the Council, valuing the support given at what is a hard time for them.
